Position Summary
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage customer accounts across North America from time of order to successful delivery of our products
- Ensuring all orders are entered into our system in a timely and accurate fashion for processing
- Responding to customer enquiries, and ensuring a high level of customer service for both internal and externals customers is provided via telephone, fax, and email
- Taking ownership for customer satisfaction and striving for excellence by achieving/exceeding expectations
- Investigating and solving customer complaints and product issues
- Providing accurate product and pricing information
- Understanding the order "load" logistics requirements for Canadian and US orders
- Prioritizing delivery of all orders
- Recommending new procedures to improve customer service efficiency
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Quick learner who is able to multi-task and practices excellent follow-through
- Excellent accuracy and data-entry skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Completion of high school education or equivalent required
- 1 year experience in a customer service role
- Order Entry experience
- Experience in a role in logistics, and shipping and receiving of products
- Previous experience in a the building materials or construction industry an asset
- Experience with a warehouse management system is an asset
