Strategically nestled near the bustling port of Izmir, on the shores of the Gulf of Izmir, Turkiye, Anatolia's latest facility is poised to emerge as a pioneering hub for innovation, manufacturing, and global trade logistics. Designed collaboratively by Canadian firm Micacchi Architecture and the acclaimed Turkish architect team of IGLO Architects and the Mac, this project has already garnered attention, earning nominations for prestigious design awards such as the 2A Architecture & Art Magazine architecture award for "Future Projects and Innovative Designs."
The facility will house the company’s research and development, showrooms, and offices to become a major innovation powerhouse with a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant and logistics center.
This venture emphasizes Anatolia's passion for design and penchant for innovation. It features three distinct structures that, together, form an integrated production and design unit. The first is the main administrative building – a grand and refined architectural masterpiece that houses office space, showrooms, and research & product development labs. Simply walking through the space takes one on a visual journey of Anatolia’s aesthetic vision. The building adjoins a production plant with a planned total of 10 lines equipped with advanced manufacturing equipment. The plant is conceived as a space for designers to experiment with materials and diverse methods to bring novel products to life. The intuitive and efficient building layout is accentuated by solid stone blocks and long, glass-clad voids, favoring focus and stability. Finally, an adjacent centralized storage space ensures efficient and monitored gathering of both raw materials and finished products. An impressive 2,267,450 sq ft / 210,653 m2, the facility is one of the largest and most technologically advanced in the world.
